What material is available on the site: Information is available about the Getty’s programs in conserving, research-funding, collecting and interpreting, and publishing about the visual arts. A prominent part of the site is promotion of the Getty’s Open Content program to make available, without charge, all (some 100,000) available digital images to which the Getty holds the rights or that are in the public domain to be used for any purpose.
